Performance in the 2019 C-5

There are a few changes to the CX-5, which consistently ranks as the best-selling Mazda year after year. For 2019, there will be five trim levels to choose from (Sport, Touring, Grand Touring, Grand Touring Reserve, and Signature). The bottom three trims will still get the same powerful yet efficient SKYACTIV®-G 2.5L 4-cylinder engine, which delivers 187 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque. If you upgrade to the Grand Touring Reserve or the Signature trims, though, you’ll receive a new SKYACTIV®-G 2.5T 4-cylinder engine with Dynamic Pressure Turbo. This engine achieves a much more powerful 250 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque.

There’s more to the CX-5 than what it has under the hood. The bottom three trims come with available i-ACTIV AWD® which is also standard in the Grand Touring Reserve and Signature trims. To make your ride more comfortable, each CX-5 model comes with SKYACTIV-VEHICLE DYNAMICS with G-Vectoring Control Plus for optimal stability and control. Other features include Push Button Start, Drive Selection with quick-responding Sport mode, and a 3,500-lb towing capacity.
