The 2017 Mazda CX-3 is equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 146 horsepower and 146 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed automatic is the only transmission available. Front-wheel drive is standard with all-wheel drive offered as an option on all trim levels. The 2017 CX-3 is offered in Sport, Touring and Grand Touring trim levels and all models are powered by the same engine.

Fuel Economy and Driving Range

The CX-3 is capable of 29 city mpg and 34 highway mpg for a combined mpg of 31. All-wheel drive CX-3 models decrease fuel economy slightly with 27 city mpg and 32 highway mpg with a combined mpg of 29.

Front-wheel drive CX-3 models have a 12.7-gallon fuel tank, which allows the CX-3 to travel up to 444.5 highway miles on a single tank of gas. All-wheel drive CX-3 models come equipped with an 11.9-gallon fuel tank which allows drivers a 380.8 highway mile driving range.
