Though summer just started it is already time to start thinking about 4th of July celebrations going on in the area. Fireworks Kite Festival at the Lakefront 

July 3rd, at the lakefront there will be the Fireworks Kite Festival beginning at 11 am. Then at dusk, around 9:25 pm the firework show will begin. This hour-long fireworks display is a popular tradition for many in the community so plan to arrive early. 4th of July Celebration Hales Corners 

On July 4th, Hales Corners is hosting their 4th of July Celebration which is an all-day event taking place throughout the town. There will be a firecracker four-run, a classic and antique car show, a parade, pie contest, bed races, a community bash and of course, fireworks to end the celebration. July 4th Celebration City of South Milwaukee 

South Milwaukee will be hosting their July 4th Celebration at Grant Park. The activities begin at 10 am and include a bike and costume parade, kids’ races, the Mayor’s Picnic which includes a complimentary hot dog, popcorn, water, Cracker Jack and ice cream. There will music throughout the afternoon, bouncy houses and the enhanced fireworks show begins at 9:30 pm. Take a look at the website for more information.
