2020 Mazda CX-30 and CX-5 Size Comparison
Mazda has been on fire recently. The CX-5 was just named in the Car and Driver 2020 “10Best” list as the best crossover. It won the same designation on the 2019 list. Mazda was also named “Best Car Brand” by US New and World Report in 2020, making it the fifth consecutive year that the company has won the title.
The Mazda CX-30 is in its first model year, but critical reception has been excellent. So, if you’re in the market for a crossover, which should you choose, the CX-30 or the CX-5? We can’t make that decision for you, but we can help you do research.

2020 CX-30 Specs
The CX-30 is smaller than the CX-5. However, the only places it will actually feel like it is in the leg room and cargo space. Both vehicles seat up to five, and most of the measurements are within a 1-2 inches of each other. If you like crossovers, but want something a little smaller, then the CX-30 is perfect for you.
2020 CX-5 Specs
The CX-5 has spacious seating for both the front and rear rows. And if you need cargo space instead of seating capacity, then the rear seats fold down to give you 59.6 cubic feet of space. That’s ample enough to haul just about any reasonable cargo.
