Labor Day is quickly approaching which means the end of summer as much as we may not like to admit it. The extended holiday weekend is a great time to get outside enjoy the last moments of nice weather and end the summer with a bang. Big Gig BBQ at Henry Maier Festival Park
On Sunday, September 4th enjoy the Big Gig BBQ at the south end of Henry Maier Festival Park. There will be smoky ribs, brisket, and signature BBQ from nine of the best cookers in Wisconsin. Enjoy good food, live music and Wisconsin’s finest beer. Be sure to get tickets before it sells out!
Garden District Farmers’ Market
On Saturdays the Garden District Farmers’ Market runs from 1-5pm. If you haven’t taken the opportunity to hit up the local farmers’ market then do so now. Enjoy fresh locally grown produce, vendors, music and much more. The farmers’ market only runs until October so get there before it is done for the season.

Running from September 3-5, bring the family out to Old World Wisconsin to see what life was like in 19th century Wisconsin. Enjoy family activities associated with work on the farms, homes and shops and after enjoy a picnic lunch and period games.
