Volkswagen made the interesting decision to add another sedan to their lineup for the 2019 model year. You may have already heard about the 2019 Arteon, which promises to deliver a thrilling mix of efficient performance and a luxurious interior. This will be the second consecutive year Volkswagen has added a new model to the mix after releasing the Atlas for the 2018 model year. Check out some performance features in the new 2019 Volkswagen Arteon!
What’s Under the Hood of the 2019 Arteon?
If you were looking for a sedan with high-flying performance, this is it. The 2019 Arteon sports an impressive 2.0L TSI® turbocharged engine that’s as tough as it is efficient. It grinds out a sporty 268 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, which makes it the most powerful sedan from Volkswagen. In addition to that, it also has DCC® adaptive chassis control so you can choose a driving mode that fits your style and personality. Sport mode will give you the most rapid throttle response while Comfort is ideal for cruising down the highway for long stretches. Normal will give you the best of both.
As is the case with all Volkswagen models, the Arteon comes available with the Volkswagen-exclusive 4MOTION® all-wheel drive feature. This intelligent AWD system will optimize traction and stability in rough road conditions by distributing torque to the wheels that can put it to the most use. When you’re out and about and ready to activate the cruise control feature, opt for the available Adaptive Cruise Control to set a safe interval between you and the driver in front of you. As they slow down or speed back up, the Arteon will automatically adjust your speed so you don’t have to disengage the cruise control feature when you feel like you’re getting too close.
Volkswagen did right by the 2019 Arteon, as it’s receiving a lot of buzz in the automotive industry. Learn more by contacting us here at Hall Cars or schedule a test drive on our website!
