Shared Features

Both the Grand Touring Reserve and Signature trims inherit features from the trims below them. That list includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a 10-speaker premium Bose audio system, dual-zone automatic climate control, a power liftgate, and a moonroof, among many others. They both also get multiple safety features, like forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic control, and more.

Grand Touring Reserve Features

The 2020 CX-5 Grand Touring Reserve gets an upgraded engine from the lower trims. It has the 2.5-liter turbocharged Skyactiv-G four-cylinder that produces 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque (with premium fuel). AWD is standard; FWD is no longer available. Other standard features added with this trim include a bigger 8-inch touchscreen, a traffic sign recognition system, and a heads-up display. Ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, and a heated steering wheel are also standard. Rear parking sensors are available.

Signature Features

The CX-5 Signature gets top-of-the-line features. For instance, it switches out the leather upholstery for a robust, European-sourced Nappa leather. Similarly, it gets real wood accents through the cabin. The integrated satellite navigation system is a great addition, as are the surround-view parking system and front and rear parking sensors.
