Shared Features

The 2020 Mazda CX-5 comes in five trims: Sport, Touring, Grand Touring, Grand Touring Reserve, and Signature. The standard engine for the Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring is a 2.5-liter Skyactiv-G four-cylinder. It pumps out 187 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque. Every CX-5 also has a six-speed automatic transmission. For the Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring trims, FWD is standard, but AWD is available. Every CX-5 has forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and low-speed automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning with lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control.

CX-5 Touring

The 2020 Mazda CX-5 Touring is an excellent starting point. It has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, and synthetic leather upholstery as standard features. A 10-speaker Bose premium sound system, power liftgate, and moonroof are available via the Preferred Equipment package. The integrated navigation system and rear parking sensors can be added on individually.

CX-5 Grand Touring

The Grand Touring trim comes standard with everything from the Sport and Touring trims before it and adds even more features. Everything that was available on the Touring's Preferred Equipment package is standard on the Grand Touring. This trim also gets genuine leather-trimmed seats and a satellite radio. The available GT Premium package adds traffic sign recognition and a heads-up display, as well as ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and heated rear seats. Rear parking sensors are once again available.
