The 2020 Mazda3 Sedan comes in four trims: Base, Select, Preferred, and Premium. Each 2020 Mazda3 comes with a 2.5-liter Skyactiv-G four-cylinder that produces 186 horses and 186 lb-ft of torque. Every Mazda3 Sedan also has a refined six-speed automatic transmission. The Mazda3 comes standard with FWD, but has available AWD. The Base trim comes with an 8.8-inch infotainment screen, Bluetooth capability, two USB input/charging ports, HD Radio, and push-button start. Standard safety features include forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection, as well as lane departure warning with lane-keep assist. Stop-and-go adaptive cruise control, automatic rain-sensing wipers, a rearview camera, and a driver condition monitoring system are also standard.
The Mazda3 Select inherits all the features from the Base trim and adds a few more for good measure. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard for the Select, as are proximity keyless entry, dual-zone automatic climate control, synthetic leather seats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. When it comes to safety features, the Select trim gets blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.
The Preferred trim is all about upgrading the comfort of your commute. It has everything from the Base and Select trims, plus an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat and heated front seats. The standard eight-speaker stereo is upgraded to a 12-speaker Bose premium sound system that pairs nicely with the newly added satellite radio.
