Safety Features

Like its siblings, the 2021 Mazda CX-30 has a comprehensive standard safety suite. It includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection, lane departure warning with lane keep assist, a driver drowsiness monitor, rain-sensing wipers, automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, and a rearview camera. Other driver assistive features are available, including blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, a surround-view parking camera system, reverse automatic emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, traffic jam assist, adaptive headlights, and a heads-up display.

Connectivity Features

Every 2021 Mazda CX-30 is chock full of infotainment features. Standard inclusions are Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and an integrated Wi-Fi hotspot. The infotainment system is controlled via command knob and an 8.8-inch infotainment display. Two USB ports are standard. Numerous options are available, such as a wireless device charging pad, integrated satellite navigation, SiriusXM satellite radio, a premium 12-speaker Bose Centerpoint sound system, and more.

Performance Specs

The 2021 Mazda CX-30 got the turbo treatment fo the new model year. That means there are two available engines: a 2.5-liter Skyactiv-G four-cylinder engine or a turbocharged 2.5-liter Skyactiv-G four-cylinder. The naturally aspirated 2.5L engine produces 186 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque. The turbocharged version (available late 2020) pumps out up to 250 horses and 320 lb-ft of torque when using premium gas. Both engines are paired with a six-speed automatic. FWD is standard for the 2.5 S, Select, Preferred, and Premium trims. AWD is available, however.
