Every 2021 Mazda3 Hatchback is backed by the Mazda iActivsense safety suite. It includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning with lane keep assist, automatic high-beam headlights, rain-sensing wipers, stop-and-go adaptive cruise control, driver drowsiness monitoring, and a rearview camera. Higher trims bring more features, such as blind spot monitoring with rear cross traffic alert, a heads-up display, and adaptive headlights.

Infotainment Tech

The 2021 Mazda3 Hatchback is decked out at every trim level. Standard features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, HD Radio, two USB ports, an 8.8-inch infotainment screen, an eight-speaker sound system with Mazda Harmonic Acoustics, and push button start. Again, higher trims have more inclusions, like a premium 12-speaker Bose sound system, proximity keyless entry, remote start, integrated GPS navigation, SiriusXM satellite radio, and more.

Powertrain Options

Now available with an all-new turbocharged option, there are two different available engines for the 2021 Mazda3 Hatchback. The base 2.5-liter four-cylinder pumps out 187 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque. It’s available on the 2.5 S, Select, Preferred, and Premium trims. The turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder is available on the all-new 2.5 Turbo and 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus trims. With regular fuel, it produces 227 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. With premium fuel, those numbers are pumped up to 250 horses and 320 lb-ft of torque.
