The 2021 Volkswagen Golf is hatchback that’s powered by a 147-horsepower 1.4L turbo-four. It only comes in one trim, with either a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic transmission. It has Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, a Wi-Fi hotspot, a 6.5-inch touchscreen, a USB port, a sunroof, and heated seats. Forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, post-collision braking, pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and a rearview camera are also standard.

Golf GTI Features

The 2021 Volkswagen Golf GTI is track-ready version of the Golf. Under the hood, there’s a 228-horsepower 2.0L turbo-four. The standard transmission is a 6-speed manual, but it can be switched out for a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. It has the same features as the 2021 Golf TSI, with some notable improvements. Among the most prominent are standard performance front brakes and a limited-slip differential. The available active suspension dampers are also a highlight for the Golf GTI.
