Today, we’ll be examining the two top-tier trims for the 2021 Volkswagen Jetta: the SEL and the SEL Premium. Shared Features

The Jetta SEL and SEL Premium inherit all the features from the models before. That includes things like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, a Wi-Fi hotspot, a sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, and rear cross traffic alert. The SEL and SEL Premium also have the 147-horse 1.4L turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Both trims have the eight-speed automatic transmission.

SEL Features

The SEL has a starting MSRP of $25,745. It adds multiple safety features, including lane departure warning, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and automatic high beams. Remote start, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, heated seats, and a heated steering wheel are also standard. Infotainment-wise, the SEL trim gets a wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an 8-inch touchscreen, the 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit gauge cluster, wireless device charging, SiriusXM satellite radio, interior ambient lighting, and an 8-speaker BeatsAudio sound system.

SEL Premium Features

The penultimate SEL Premium has a starting MSRP of $28,045. It adds genuine leather upholstery, front sports seats, and an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with memory settings. GPS-linked navigation is also standard.
