S Features

The Passat S (and every other trim) is powered by a 2.0-liter turbo-four that produces 174 horsepower and 206 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed automatic. FWD is standard. It also has numerous safety and driver assistive features, including forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and a rearview camera. Inside the cabin, you can expect Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Mirror Link, Bluetooth, a 6.3-inch touchscreen, HD and Satellite radio, and a USB charging and input port. Remote start is available.

SE Features

The SE trim of the 2020 Passat adds many convenience features. For instance, rain-sensing wipers, proximity keyless entry, push-button start, dual-zone automatic climate control, and an auto-dimming rearview are standard. Comfort also gets a boost, with V-Tex synthetic leather upholstery, heated front seats, an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and two rear-row USB ports. Safety-wise, adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist are now standard. VW Car-Net and a Wi-Fi hotspot are also standard. A moonroof is available by itself or as part ofthe R-Line package, which adds styling elements, larger alloy wheels, and the previously mentioned moonroof.

SEL

The Passat SEL is the top-tier model. It has leather upholstery, an integrated navigation system, heated rear outboard seats, and a premium eight-speaker Fender sound system. Newly-added safety features include parallel parking assist, adaptive headlights, and front and rear parking sensors.
